Train Hauling Trash Derails in Bronx, Metro

Metro-North service on the Hudson line is suspended indefinitely after a freight train derailed in the Bronx, officials say.


Ten cars of a freight train derailed at about 8:40 p.m. in the rock cut between the Spuyten Duyvil and Riverdale stations, according to Marge Anders of Metro-North.
